Pope Francis will visit Belgium this Fall. This is a historic event, because the Pope visits very few European countries. The Catholic community in Belgium and many others at home and abroad welcome him with enthusiasm.  

The highlight of his visit is the celebration of the Eucharist on Sunday morning, 29 September at 10:00 in King Baudouin Stadium.  The Eucharistic Celebration will be presided over by Pope Francis himself.  

The Papal visit will also highlight the sixth hundredth anniversary of the KU Leuven and UCLouvain. 

In addition to the official program, there are other events that mark the arrival of Pope Francis in our country, namely, an extensive youth program called the Hope Happening. This Event begins on 28 September at 10:00 a.m. with a pilgrimage.
